ZEC's Freon Charging TLP thermoplastic hoses are specifically developed for service equipment in the automotive industry for portable cooling systems. By virtue of its excellent flexibility, resistance and low gas permeability, ZEC's Freon Charging TLP thermoplastic hose offers greater performance than the traditional elastomeric hose. 

TECHNICAL FEATURES

ZEC's Freon Charging TLP thermoplastic hoses are specifically developed for stations that recharge the refrigerant gas in the conditioning systems of the automotive industry. 


ZEC's Freon Charging TLP thermoplastic hoses offer excellent flexibility, while retaining equally high resistance to crushing. Thanks to ZEC S.p.A.'s great experience and research conducted on innovative materials, ZEC's Freon Charging TLP thermoplastic hoses feature low values of minimum bend radius and, as such, higher resistance to kinking, if compared with traditional elastomeric hoses of equivalent performance. 

Technical-constructive features:
The inner core of ZEC Freon Charging TLP hoses is made of a special alloy composed of polyamide (PA) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). In addition to making this hose extremely flexible, this material ensures low permeability to refrigerants, thus minimizing gas leaks through the hose.
 
Despite its low density, the polyamide-elastomer allow provides an excellent barrier against refrigerant gases (R-22, R-134a, R-404a, R-407c, R-410a, R-507, R-600a, R-744, HFO-1234yf) and an excellent chemical resistance to lubricating oils typically mixed with the refrigerant (PAG oils and POE oils).
 
The reinforcing braid made of high toughness polyester yarn (PET) and the micro perforated cover in thermoplastic polymer provide the hose with a high resistance to pressure and surface abrasion, ensure performance higher than those required by the SAE J2196 and SAE J2888 Standards. The maximum guaranteed working pressure is 60 bar, whilst minimum burst pressure is 300 bar versus the 34 bar and 172 bar, respectively, required by Standards.

Working temperature:
The working temperature of ZEC Freon Charging TLP hoses is in the range from -30°C to +95°C in accordance with SAE J2196 and SAE J2888 Standards.
