TECHNICAL FEATURES
ZEC's RILSAN® HT thermoplastic tubing are an innovative solution for industrial and automotive applications which require resistance to high temperatures, as an alternative to the traditional metal pipes or Polytetrafluoroethylene tubing. The ZEC Rilsan® HT tubing is suitable for the conduction of non-aqueous, hot fluids (oils, fuels, air and refrigerant fluids).
ZEC's Rilsan® HT tubing were developed using a special thermoplastic biopolymer called Rilsan® HT obtained from renewable plant sources. It is a polyphthalamide (PPA) characterized by excellent thermo-oxidative aging resistance to heat. This material is Biobased up to 70% and favors the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2).
ZEC's Rilsan® HT tubing ensures excellent thermoforming, good mechanical and abrasion-resistance properties, combined with a high chemical resistance and resistance to harsh environments. This hose has successfully passed all tests required by international DIN 73378 and ISO 7628 Standards.
Working temperature is in the range between -40°C and +150°C.
For water based fluids: +70°C.
The ZEC Rilsan® HT tubing are in compliance with REACH Regulation (2006/1907/EC) and RoHS 2 (2011/65/EU) European Directive.
