Technical Features:
ZEC GT Textile Sleeves are particularly suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic applications, containing single and multiple tubings/hoses.
These sheaths show an excellent mechanical resistance and they are compatible with many oils and organic products.
GT Textile Sleeves are made in high tensile textile fiber and they guarantee a high resistance to abrasion. As proven by tests made in lab (see Fig. 1), sleeve passes 5000 test cycles in accordance with the UNI ISO 6945 standard.
Temperature range:
- From -40°C to +100°C (From -40°F to +212°F)
The GT Textile Sleeves show an excellent resistance to heat
(Softening Point at 150°C) as well as a low thermal conductivity

Technical Features:
- Safety standard ISO 3457:2003GT Textile Sleeves ensure an excellent shielding to oil squirts and this has been proven by a lab tests (Pin Hole Test) performed by carrying a hose up to the burst according to SAE100 J343 standard and by comparing the sleeve condition before the burst (Fig. 2a) and after the burst (Fig. 2b).
GT Textile Sleeves work as a protective and containing shield towards the surrounding environment, without highlighting any structural fail. Therefore they grant a good protection in case of accidental tube/hose rupture, in accordance with ISO 3457 safety standard
- Tensile braking test ASTM D885
A further proof on the resistance level of the GT Textile Sleeve is the tensile braking test performed on the sleeve, resulted in accordance with ASTM D885 standard.
- UV stabilization
GT Textile Sleeves are UV stabilized and they provide an excellent
resistance to UVA ageing. The product is therefore suitable for outdoor applications in presence of sunlight and weathering.
After testing for 720 hours to UVA rays at 50°C, sleeves haven’t showed any evidence of deterioration or ageing.

GT Textile Sleeves have obtained the approval from the Mine Safety and Health Administration by the U.S. Department of Labor with marking "MSHA IC332-08".
